On the weekend of November 11th, 12 & 13th the Kingower Cricket Club will celebrate turning 150 years old.
The Friday night will be a reunion of past players sharing their stories over dinner and a few drinks.
Saturday will see the juniors playing at Kingower in the morning followed by the seniors in the afternoon. A BBQ lunch will be provided between the games. A display of player statistics, memorabilia and equipment will be on show throughout the day. A roast roll tea will be provided after the senior match with nibblies throughout the evening.
Sunday will be more of an official day showcasing more memorable items and stories, with a few special presentations to be made.
If you, a member of your family or a friend played for Kingower, even one game we would love to hear from you. We currently have the statistics of all players who have played from 1968 until 2011, but would love to compile statistics from earlier years.
