Condolences to Brenda Arnold and her family. Jack Arnold ,her father in law passed away in Melbourne..and was buried on Monday.

Last week Robyn Vella and her mother Marg Collins were involved in an accident on the freeway when a trailor jack knifed in front of them The same day, Jarrod Ritchie and his boss were involved in a head on collision. Fortunately in both cases no one was seriously injured.
The Lions club had their change over dinner on Friday night. David Lockhart took over the reins as president.
Our sympathy to Alec and Robert Sagle for the death of Margaret , their wife and mother. Margaret was laid to rest in Wedderburn on Friday.
Happy 60th birthday to Mineka Wigmore. Mineka had a birthday luncheon with a few mates on Friday.
Had Stirrer Hargreaves around for a haircut on Friday night. Was amazed to see he had red fingernail polish on !!! I have never really imagined him as a cross dresser Started wondering what he gets up to out there at Kurraca Imagine my relief when he said he has had Ruby out there on work experience. The fingernails were probably Ruby trying to jazz her old grandfather up a bit.

A belated happy 80th birthday to Judy Lorraine Fancy Judy being 80. I have photos of Judy 20 years ago helping plant the ash trees at the entrance to town and she doesn’t look a day older now and still just as interested in the towns appearance.
Daryl Arnott has returned from the Kakoda trail His wife Jo said he enjoyed it although it was hard going when it rained for 3 days . Hopefully we will be able to see photos of it . Troy Burnside and Zoe Smithies are in training for their trip there. Last weekend they did some difficult climbs at the Grampians and tent dwelling practise. Jye and Kristy unfortunately wont be going now. Jye sustained a very bad knee injury a few years ago When he tried scarpering up Mt Korong it kept giving out and bear in mind Kakoda is 7 times higher. His specialist said NO NO NO or think about a wheelchair. As Jye has long service due he will find something fun to do.instead.

By the look on Bob and Faye Hodges face I felt sure they had won tatslotto, but it was better than that. They have a new grand daughter Allira Lynette. Congratulations to Mark and Lisa.
Welcome home to Wedderburn, Wilma Andrews. Good to have you back. Also to Arthur Tonkin. Arthurs sister,Mavis McGurk has been unwell and staying in Horsham with her daughter . Fortunately she has now been able to return home as well to Charlton.
Congratulations to Heather Leech and David Poole who were married at Rheola on Saturday. Ash Gould, Tim Polkinghorne,Julie Leech and Fiona Polkinghorne were in the wedding party.
