Blog Training for Loddon Alive

Written by  Loddon Visitor Information Centre
A group of enthusiast volunteers attended a Blog workshop at the Boort Resource Centre to further their knowledge on how to promote their community and district through Blogging on the World Wide Web.

This workshop was organised by the Loddon Shire Tourism Department and facilitated by Mr. Ric Raftis. Mr. Raftis educated the group on how to insert information onto a Blog about their community. The Loddon alive portal web site has Blogs inserted for each of the major towns across the Loddon Shire.

The Loddon Shire Tourism Manager Robyn Vella said the Blogs are an online newsletter informing locals, past residents and potential new residents of what's happening or available in this region.

To have information inserted onto the Blogs please contact the relevant organisation that suits your promotion. The organisations that are willing to insert information onto the Blogs are Boort Tourism Committee, Inglewood Resource Centre, Pyramid Progress Association, Loddon Southern Region Tourism Committee and Wedderburn Community House.
