Our sympathy to Alec and Robert Sagle for the death of Margaret , their wife and mother. Margaret was laid to rest in Wedderburn on Friday.
Happy 60th birthday to Mineka Wigmore. Mineka had a birthday luncheon with a few mates on Friday.
Had Stirrer Hargreaves around for a haircut on Friday night. Was amazed to see he had red fingernail polish on !!! I have never really imagined him as a cross dresser Started wondering what he gets up to out there at Kurraca Imagine my relief when he said he has had Ruby out there on work experience. The fingernails were probably Ruby trying to jazz her old grandfather up a bit.
“Warts and all” staged their musical on Friday and Saturday night . Heard one couple absolutely rave about it . They couldn’t believe the lovely singing voices some had or how hilarious Steve Smith and Jed McNamara are. Its on again this Friday and Saturday night . Cant wait to go.
We must take our hat off to the netball girls. Not only are they VERY good at netball beating the top team by 20 goals but they are very professional caterers as well. They managed to have 3 venues running on Saturday. The courts were officially opened ,a luncheon was served then a really exquisite afternoon tea was served The presentation of the afternoon tea was no less than the famous Windsor afternoon teas. Some of the guest stars were our Mayor Christine Brooks Mike and Gaye Hanrahan Dr Shack and Raj, young Robby Steel and Anthony Jackson.
Good to see Patricia Bruce down from Sydney for a quick stay at her holiday house. She did manage to fit in a night out with Kerry and Ernie to the country music club.
Hope everyone has noticed the new altered speed limit at the railway crossing near Zarah and Graeme Nesbits . It is now 80 kms an hour
Last weekend Trish Steele introduced the Kakoda team ,Troy and Zoe , to climbing Mt Macedon from the base (not the car park). They climbed it twice last weekend ,three times this weekend and intend to climb it four times in one day ,in the near future . Crikey they will soon be dangerous!!

Who left their walking stick in the butchers shop?
The butchers shop has been chaotic . The coolroom has been completely gutted relined and a new rail system installed . Although we have enjoyed having Nick Chalmers and Troy B with his team of Turf boys in there ,work conditions have been totally crazy . A butchers shop without a coolroom is like a grain farmer with a pair of scissors instead of a header. One advantage we had was the fact that Troy had butchered out of that coolroom for six years so he and Wig were able to design a state of the art system that he then constructed it. Its amazing the things you can get done in Wedderburn.
